You might be thinking, “How can I be sure that my teen isn’t taking a short cut and speaking English with her friends?” Good question! All students, faculty and residential advisors are required to take the Language Pledge. Each person that takes the pledge, honors the pledge with pride and welcomes the challenge!

Culture Experience

From language and beyond, Middlebury Interactive Languages knows the value of getting the full experience. Not only are the cultural enrichment activities fun, but they also offer insight into a culture’s history, what’s valued and expected. Students’ world views are expanded with hands-on cultural experiences such as learning Tai chi, salsa dancing, traditional cooking classes and more.

College Application Enhancement

Every student is looking to have a robust college application. Pair their volunteer activities and accolades with an immersion experience to showcase their drive for learning and willingness to “stretch outside the box” for knowledge.
