6 End of Season Team Celebrations

As another successful sports season winds down, it's the perfect time for teams to celebrate!

Potluck / Team Meal. The best way to celebrate another great season is with a delicious community meal where parents can relax and catch up with one another and players can enjoy their time together off the field. Organize a quick potluck (and make sure you don't end up with three trays of brownies) with our free online potluck signups with reminders!

Group Gift for the Coach. Encourage the entire team to pitch in for their favorite coach and purchase a sizeable gift card to Academy, Dicks Sporting Goods or their favorite restaurant for their entire family to enjoy some post-season fun. Share in a card signed by all the team members and parents! Or consider a themed group gift basket with small tokens your coach will enjoy - gourmet chocolates, memoriblia from their favorite pro team, movie night supplies like blu-rays and popcorn - more ideas here.

End of Season Party. Rock out with your other team families and a fun party that boasts food, drinks, laughs and dare we say it, a slideshow?! Coordinate donations, set up and clean up, even collect contributions with free online signups! Mobile access and automated reminders keep everyone track too!

Gift Swap. Take the 'white elephant' approach this holiday season, and have players draw one another's names from a hat and deliver gag gifts to be opened after the last game or at the team party.

Team Superlatives. Sport extra smiles as your wrap up the sports season with team superlatives - it's easy! Come up with enough categories for team members to vote on, i.e. best goal scorer, most likely to make you laugh, best post-game hair, etc. Have players vote on paper or with a quick online survey and then tally the votes and award funny superlative certificates at the end of season party or potluck!

Team Pic. Add a personal touch to the team pic for the coach this year by framing or mounting it and having all the players sign the frame with sharpie! Tape secret gift cards to the back of it and give to the coach at the team potluck or party.
